Angie Speicher: Angie is a vocalist extraordinaire and keyboard player with stylings toward light jazz. Her repertoire includes hits by pop sensation Norah Jones, and CCM divas Rebecca St. James and Jennifer Knapp!
Bob Walker: Bob has played the Ohio River Arts Fest and the Kent State Folk Festival and 100's of shows in Northern Ohio. He performed on the coffee house scene around Boston. He has performed on NPR and PBS. Bob is eclectic and does old blues and contemporary folk. He often plays at churches in the East Liverpool area.
Brad Fuller: Brad began playing music at age 15 when he purchased an Applause Ovation Guitar from Glass Music in Coshocton. Brad has written songs for Ric Vandussen, Theresa Asire for the Gospel Hill Singers, Coshocton High School Show Choir and Leslie Chastain. A few of his influences are the Beatles, James Taylor, and Gene Cotton.
Claxon Family Band: Casey, Les, Corey, Joe Anne, Amy, Claudia, and Kirby do songs from the Everly Brothers, Ricky Nelson, The Beatles, Alison Krause and even Lifehouse. They do a lot of pop and rock, and a little bluegrass/country with some contemporary Christian thrown in. The Claxons are multi-instrumentalists and multi-talented!! They are 3 bands in one!
Dan Barnes: Dan has a PhD in English, and taught at Ohio State University for 33 years. Dan has performed in Europe and played at the Claremont Steakhouse in Columbus, and the Worthington Inn before coming to Coshocton. In Coshocton he played at King Charlie's Tavern and now plays at the Coshocton Senior Center, assisted living and nursing homes, the Elks Club, and Ravens Glenn Winery.
Fred L. Wallis: Fred is Senior Pastor of New Philadelphia First Church of the Nazarene. Fred first began playing the guitar at the age of 12. His favorite artists are Paul Simon, Kenny Loggins, Neil Young, and John Denver. His playing style is mild finger picking with some rhythm tunes thrown in.
Gary Baker: Gary's first band was The Rebells at age 14. Gary’s love for self-penned CCM music is what he tends to play most. He has written songs and performed them with Cross Fire and the Grace UMC’s Children’s Choir. Occasionally he does a cover from Paul McCartney, Derek Webb, Neil Young, or CCR.
Jason Pendola Band: Jason is the resident house guitarist/vocalist at F.R.E.T.S. Jason is a virtuoso guitarist who plays a variety of genres. Songs from The Police, Audioslave, Foo Fighters, Switchfoot, Coldplay, Maroon 5, James Taylor, The Who, The Beatles and Bon Jovi are typically included in his set list. Some nights Jason plays solo, other nights he is joined by Dave Hire on Bass, and Jeffery Schmidt on drums or keys.
I2 (Jeffery & Julia Schmidt & Friends): Along with pals Tim Ross, they perform 80’s-90’s and current pop hits. Alanis Morrisette, Gloria Gaynor and The Beatles are just a few of the bands they cover. They have a great time playing and a good sense of humor is a part of their charm.
Jon Cotterman: Jon is a long time resident of Coshocton County and a teacher at Cochocton High School. His music preference runs the gamut with Neil Young, Jackson Browne and Dan Fogelberg. Playing folk/rock since the early sixties, he still clings to a number of artists from that era such as the Beatles, Byrds, and Dylan.
Keith Maloy: Has taught guitar lessons in the West Layfayette area for over 25 years. In that time he has mastered most genres. Keith plays fingerstyle instrumental guitar interpreting songs from The Beatles, Eric Clapton, James Taylor and Jim Croce as well as his own original compositions.
Second Wind: Coshocton’s own Second Wind Quintet is a group of five musicians who came together in late 2005.Since then, the group has discovered what its audiences like to hear the most, are lively renditions of Dixieland, swing, and pop classics – like “The St. Louis Blues,” “After You’ve Gone,” and “September Song.”
Seven Days: Has a modern pop sound (think Coldplay) and does both secular and CCM in their set.
Sheldon Mencer: Sheldon has been a fixture on the Coshocton area CCM scene for over 25 years. Sheldon brings a mix of gospel, Contemporary Christian, and a bit of 70’s singer-songwriter stylings to his performance. Sheldon has a strong professional voice that shows many years of dedication to his craft.
ShoeRauck: is a steel-string partnership born in the heart of Ohio, whose sound is familiar, yet new. The group blends an eclectic mix of acoustic blues and folk, all performed with their unique, soulful sound. Everything from Hank Williams Sr. to Citizen Cope.
Tubafours: This unusual group of two euphoniums and two tubas was started in the summer of 2005, and since then they have played together many times. Members are Ron Geese, Ron Coombs, Ron Barkett, and Don Irven. All are members of the Dominic Greco Band in Dover.
Wildwood and Friends: Marty and Don from Wildwood music offer up a diverse mix of tunes any time they come to F.R.E.T.S. Don plays guitar and Marty either hammered dulcimer or guitar. They are joined by Louise Cardenzena on Celtic accordion and Linda Gardner on harp and penny whistle. Vic Cardenzena leads the occasional sing-a-long of old favorites appropriate for the holiday.
Woodard and Dinan:
Rick Woodward: Rick was born and raised in Zanesville. Early on Rick formed a band playing The Beatles. Led Zeppelin, Santana, etc. He was also influenced by James Taylor, John Denver and Simon & Garfunkel, Mencer, White & Cheney and Phil Keaggy.
Mark Dinan: Has been playing music for 4o+ yrs. Mark usually play artists like James Taylor, Bread, John Denver early Beatles, Dan Fogelberg...artists that deal mostly in a folk/blues genre. Mark also enjoys contemporary Gospel music.
