F.R.E.T.S is a family friendly environment. We allow music that is clean, moral, and respectful. We are a faith based-organization, we expect bands/artists to reflect F.R.E.T.S values during performances.
The lyrics may not be disrespectful to any person or group. The music that you play can not contain any vulgarity, profanity, swearing, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content. 1.The sign up sheet will be available at F.R.E.T.S at 6:00 PM on Open Mic night. Open Mic Night starts at 8:00 PM and runs until 10:00 PM or whenever the last act finishes. The first 10 acts to sign-in will perform.
2. You must provide your own instruments; guitars, keyboards & percussion. We’ll provide the microphones. No amplifiers are permitted (unless you have a direct out with the cabinet turned off).
3. Be tuned up and ready to go at least 5 minutes before your time slot. Your time is 15 minutes or 3 songs whichever occurs first.
4. Do not plug in or unplug your instrument without checking with the sound man first, damage might occur to our equipment.
5. Once Open Mic Night begins, you should not be playing instruments or singing inside except when on stage.
6. If you are an artist performing CCM music, we ask that you play your music, please do not use this time as an opportunity to preach, or have church. Let your music send the message.
F.R.E.T.S staff has the right to stop a performance at any time for any reason.
